More early Pete Gabriel madness. Also a plus for those who think samplers are too complicated these days.

Gabriel and Fairlight
:: 24th Nov 2007 - 11:11
I loved Gabriel's work with Genesis, but had never heard any of this. This must be "Rhythm of the Heat", his fourth album, from what I've found on the web. He's a very talented man. If you like the Fairlight, you should try to get a copy of the soundtrack album of the movie "Liquid Sky" by Slava Tsukerman (http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0085852/) all of which was done on a Fairlight CMI. I saw a Fairlight at an early electronic music trade show, probably in the early 70's, and way back then it was pretty impressive for its time.
