It's winter solstice for the Northern Hemisphere today. Today is the shortest day of the year. More importantly, it means that tomorrow there will be more daylight time. And more after that! For those of us who find the gloom of late fall despressing, this is a glorious day indeed.

For all you Druids out there, remember collect your sacred mistletoe tonight.
