As readers of my journal have probably figured out, I don’t think carpet bombing Afghanistan is going to make this country or the world safer. In fact, we may be heading toward another protracted, unpopular war. Although it’s not the end of the world as we know it, I am asking myself where is my large automobile?
However, I read something today renewed my faith in God and Country. The good people at the Weekly World News informed me that Bat Boy is joining the Marines!
I guess everything’s going to be OK.
