No I didn’t spend the weekend in the gutter, but I did have the life sucked out of me by the video game Heroes of Might and Magic III. I install the Linux port (from the defuncted Loki Software) and it ran beautifully. In fact, it ran too well. There’s something really fun about a M&M game. I don’t know if it’s the music (which was really excellent in this game) or the talking trees or (God forbid) the game play. Whatever “it” is, I like it!
Oh yeah, there’s some big thing going on across the street at Fenway Park. Looks like the locusts are descending on the neighborhood again for another season. sigh
