Independent contractors, what taxmen call loafers like myself, have to pay taxes quarterly. Most of you this weekend will be dealing with 2001 taxes (I finished mine in March). Estimating my tax liability is a strange and uncertain place for me. I suspect I will get an accountant before July 15, which is the next time I pay taxes. Joy!
