Looking at the covid numbers in Massachusetts (https://covid19.healthdata.org/united-states-of-america/massachusetts), our state has made enviable progress in reducing deaths since mid-April. However, we are somewhat plateaued at where the disease was April 1. Put another way, without PPE and state-mandated closures, MA could see covid deaths soar back to its peak levels in about 2-3 weeks.
